The iconic Quito’s Luxury Inn and Quito’s Gazebo Restaurant & Bar, located in Cane Garden Bay, Tortola, have undergone a rebranding under new ownership. The legendary hotel and restaurant are now officially part of the MHV Resorts & Hotels group and will operate under the new name, The Cane Garden Bay Beach Hotel.
The rebranding, which took effect on October 1, 2024, follows months of negotiations. Virgin Islands businessman Mark Vanterpool, head of the MHV group, is now at the helm.
Vanterpool’s MHV group, a major player in the British Virgin Islands’ business scene for nearly 40 years, is known for its operations in supermarkets, food service, and restaurants. This recent venture into hospitality marks the group’s effort to elevate the BVI’s tourism industry and enhance service quality.
“MHV Resorts and Hotels is thrilled to become part of the vibrant Cane Garden Bay community, a long-standing hub of tourism and culture in the BVI,” said Vanterpool.
